The unprecedented success and total compliance that greeted the exercise have sent panic waves down the spine of our oppressors.
In a viral video posted online, a group of unnamed Ebonyi youngsters challenged men from the Nigerian Army.
Ebonyi Youths came out to defend themselves from the soldier's house-to-house harassment after the #SitAtHome took effect in southeast Nigeria, according to the Lagos Pikin Reports, which posted a video of the altercation on Twitter this morning. Soldiers are attempting to run for their life.
In the footage, the teens can be heard telling the soldiers to keep shooting at them, claiming that they would be exhausted by the time their rifles were empty of ammunition.
They pursued the soldiers until they were forced to flee.
That moment of confrontation between Ebonyi youths and Nigerian soldiers was apparently captured yesterday, which was the outlawed Independent People of Biafra's (IPOB) leader's sit-at-home day designated as a memorable day for millions of lost Biafran heroes and heroines during the civil war.
In a similar vein, Nnamdi Kanu, the banned leader of the Independent People of Biafra, congratulated everyone who took part and obeyed the instruction, calling it a big success. He claimed that the Southeast was completely in accordance with the rule.

In a statement by his media aide Emma Powerful, the leader of the group thumbed up the Southeast governors for making the order a success.
"We, therefore, wish to warmly commend Biafrans, South-East Governors, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa, friends and lovers of Biafra freedom who made the exercise a huge success. The unprecedented success and total compliance that greeted the exercise have sent panic waves down the spine of our oppressors. Now they understand how prepared we are in our irrevocable resolve to restore the Biafra republic," the IPOB leader said.
