Top Nigerian singer, Wizkid, has announced the title of his fifth studio album "More Love, Less Ego", which is set for release in 2022.

The "King of Afropop" shared the news while celebrating the first anniversary of his groundbreaking album, "Made In Lagos" on social media on Saturday.

According to him, the new album will be put out on the last day of his 'Made In Lagos' tour, which is January 22, 2022.

"1 year already! Thank you for riding with me. I'm just very grateful for all the love and blessings. Promised not to make you wait too long for the next one. 'More Love Less Ego' dropping on the last day of tour!", he wrote on Instagram.

In October 2020, Wizkid released 'Made In Lagos' (MIL), his fourth album.

MIL enlisted big names in music like Damian Marley, Skepta, H.E.R, Ella Mai, Burna Boy, Tems, and Terri. In 2021, Wizkid dropped a video for 'Essence', a track off MIL, and followed up with a Justin Beiber remix.

'Essence' shot into the Billboard Hot 100 chat, cracking into the top 10.

Wizkid had also released an 18-track deluxe version of the project, receiving global acclaim.
