After we have a hard work week, a hard time in our lives or if we just feel like it's a lazy day it's sometimes nice to be able to take a break from the world around us. As artists you always have to make sure to take time to recharge your batteries and now that our marathon of the NATG is almost over you all need a nice good recharge.
For today we managed to get 46 ponies which now brings us up to 2000 ponies in total! We finally hit the 2k mark everyone, congratulations to you all!
Well everyone, today is the infamous Day 29! For you veterans out there you know what that means, but for those of you who are new to the game, Day 29 is a very special day in the NATG. Started way way back by Phoe when she was running the NATG, the prompt she picked for this day was meant to see just how crazy you can get with one picture using all the days you've drawn before. 3 A Relaxing Picnic - Alyssa Rice Darby loves picnics because, besides eating outside, she gets to relax in the beauty of nature. Perhaps she dreams about her true love when she relaxes?6 Post-event Relaxation - EveryDayDashie This month is such a wild roller coaster ride for us who participated in NATG, isn't it? I initially decided to draw Rainbow Dash relaxing after such a long journey of NATG, but then I realized that the perspective seemed a little bit off and the design of the chair wasn't that appealing. Nevertheless, I still went with this design and eventually fixed the drawing. It still looks a bit off, but at least it's better. I've also included drawings for Day 1, 10, 20, and 27 as it reflects a drastic change in my art style and represent almost the entirety of my NATG marathon for this year. Apart from that, there isn't really anything special about this drawing other than taking a break and looking away from the monitor for a while. With that being said, this drawing took me 4 hours to finish and I hope that you enjoy this drawing as much as I do!10 Out of air - Zeccy One of the most stressfull thing from 'our' childhood >.> I think it looks great, just hope to get a better understanding of "hair" sometime :)11 NATG XII Day 28: Lounging - Blazewing After a day of adventure and hunting for treasure, Tough Cookie's content to kick back and chillax as Syntax pilots their private airship home to Canterlot. =)17 Dragon-Feather Rubbing - Tarkan809 Dragons can behave like cats or dogs, they really enjoy the rubbing either the belly, the back or anywhere that will satisfy it… For Weston since he have feathers all around his body, when he tries to rub Spike it makes it even more relaxing and satisfying than ever… Spike really enjoys it. (sorry for a not-so clear explanation of this…)22 Sunbathing - Ragmo After a long day (at GalaCon) some good time for relaxing is needed :)28 Let's Chill, Relax and Rest. - BlueSkies After a very tiring day, the ponies have finally finished their activities. Some ponies sleep, some relaxing and some are chill. Others may say they "chillax". However, you can't deny the fact that everyone needs a bit of freetime of rest.32 Lazy Sunday - Ebony Crystal Not much of a story to this one, but I figured Ebony deserved a much needed rest here with this little doodle.
