His life revolved around his massive hoard of fragile 78 r.p.m. disks of jazz, blues, country and gospel music recorded between the 1920s and ’50s.Joe Bussard in 2001 with his collection of rare 78 r.p.m. records in the basement of his home in Maryland. He would go door to door hunting them down.
